Conex Energy Liberia Inc. is the market leader in Marketing and Distribution of Petroleum and allied products with 33 states of the art service stations across the 10 counties of Liberia as well as one fuel distribution depot and two aviation fueling depots in Liberia. 

Conex Energy Liberia seeks to recruit a competent, hardworking, and committed candidate as Managing Director to steer the affairs of the retail division of the company. This is an executive management position within the company. The MD reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer of the Conex Group. The Managing Director will supervise five department heads.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Affiliate is fully compliant with all Group HSSEQ subjects, policies, and standards. 
• Develop and ensure implementation of sustainable development initiatives in line with AFRICA guidelines. 
• Lead and coach the affiliate team and create conductive work environment for all staff. 
• Achieve budgeted sales, develop sales, and ensure marketing budget growth, become the preferable marketer leader in the country. 
• Achieve at least the budgeted operating result and other financial indicators. 
• Maintain effective controls of budgeted expenses. 
• Maintain optimization of financial operations in line with the group standards. 
• Ensure compliance with local regulation and taxation, respect for reporting deadlines and accuracy. 
• Implement an annual capital budget report monitoring growth and safe operation for the business.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or any of the Social Sciences. 
• Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in a senior management position in the downstream sector or related sector.
